A Poem from the Jetty Views Collection
The Magic Beauty - Viewed 1184 Times

April 11, 2005
An energy did first appear,
it was the blowing wind.
Its cauldron too, the mighty sea,
would soon the rain begin.
The seabirds herald to mankind,
that storms would soon approach.
The tides were rising rapidly
the land they would encroach.
This walk of boards was creaking now
and swaying to and fro.
God’s majesty in nature found,
his strength does awesome grow.
And I was but a dilettante
who heard and felt and saw
The magic beauty of the storms
that bring change to us all.
