I have at this moment begun to recognize
that life has certain limitations
which have been identified by my
over commitment to the insecurity
of my very existence

I am because God has allowed me to be
and I grow because he has given me
the wisdom to understand that he will always be
my raison d’etre, my reality
and the wonderful purpose of my being

I do, however, lose sight of his wonderment
and so often drown in the tears of my humanity
where he allows my choices to be my own
my decisions to be my uncertainty
and my confusion to be my denouement

It is only when I fall deep into the abyss
that is the depression of my existence
that I am able to ask for his strength,
and his forgiveness so that I may recover
the spirit of fulfillment that I seek to be

So Mote It Be
