A Poem from the The Heartbeat of One Drum Collection
Now Gone - Viewed 512 Times
David Devaney

March 13, 2007
I soar as though a butterfly
Beyond the amber sun
Nurturing the beauty there
Before my time is done
The wind does whisper silently
A herald to each day
As mountains, seas and forests green
All end mankind’s dismay
New treasures rare and mystical
Revealed each day at dawn
Allow them to embellish you
Before they are now gone
