I wonder is their love again
And will I have the chance
To share with her the universe
And taste of sweet romance
I wonder if she’ll tell me true
And if she’ll make me smile
Take my hand into her own
And too my heart beguile
And will she be my confidante
My intimate my friend
Sharing secrets and new thoughts
As we our lives do blend
And will she be my melody
My harmony my cure
Where everything is done for love
With no one keeping score
I wonder if she’ll walk with me
Through time that endless seems
Touch the shooting stars each night
And linger in my dreams
Share the future day by day
Replacing too the past
Then walk with me the ocean’s rim
Where feelings always last
I wonder if I’ll learn from her
And will she mentor me
Bout things that fill her heart with love
Both truth and fantasy
And if we’ll share tomorrows joy
While living it today
Giving dreams a chance to be
And warmth to never stray
I wonder if she’s wondering
These wonders I reveal
The wonderment two people share
When fate their lives does seal
